How we came to bee

A 4-H project that has become a small business in the Chippewa Valley. Let us tell you our story and how we have gotten to where we are.

Who we are

The West Hill Honey Company is a beekeeping business founded by Natalie Abbott and located in the beautiful Chippewa Valley. Natalie began The West Hill Honey Company as a 4-H project while in fourth grade. She is now 14 years old and starting her fifth year of beekeeping. Running a beekeeping business is a lesson in entrepreneurship from her parents who are teaching her marketing, accounting and finance of a cottage industry. It is a lesson in the keeping of bees for the whole family. It has been an amazing experience and we hope you will join us by trying some products.
Local honey is good, and it is good for you. It is a healthy, sweet, multi-useful product. And, our lip balms offer a fully natural alternative to keep your lips soft and moisturized.
